Paula Comes In From The Heat (Well, Almost)

For those, like me, wondering how Paula is doing, I have a brief update from her family:
A chance meeting in a remote village in the Sahara provided Paula the opportunity to make a satellite phone connection with her family on Saturday Nov 11.
Paula (and everyone following her expedition) has been concerned with the absence of contact. It seems that an errant camel (name unknown) managed to wreck a 'bomb proof' computer as well as causing several days delays in progress.
Paula estimated she was 5 days walk from the Saharan desert town of Atar, Mauritania. Once there she is planning a quick recovery time of energy/computer satellite equipment/stores/diary update. All being well the bush (well desert) telegraph will enable errant camel computer photos to be unlocked within a few weeks…
