This was such a nice read, glad you are both having such a nice time, I know when I was on my travels I had some quite funny translation mishaps! God only knows what I was actually trying to say. Maybe I need to work a year at a translation agency
to brush up on my language skills. Are you finished with your travels now?

Day 25 now of the Minari road blockade to stop Woodside from clearing 25 hectares of land for the proposed 3,000 hectare Gas Hub at James Prices Point.

Slugmaster writes in the June 2011 oil and gas energy newsletter.. pride comes before a fall.. here he is describing Woodside,, and the arrogance of bad corporate management..

With 3 LNG stuff ups to their record now, they are trying for number four.. Help protect the Kimberley from this disaster !!

Hi Paula;

I just only recently started reading your 2 books, after listening to a podcast Richard Fidler interviewing you! I was immediately fascinated! On top of that I discovered you had one of your first 'inspirations' whilst living in Broome WA. Ive been a Broome resident for about 16 years now and am very passionate about the place. Off course together with alot of other people here and elsewhere, we are very opposed and appalled about what is going to happen to James Prices Point & Quondong. Thank you for adding the issue onto your blog.
I enormously enjoy reading your books and all your writings on your website. It is so joyous to look back at my own walk I did once back in 1991 with 7 other people from Quarzazate, Zagora to M'Hamed in Sth Marocco. 2 years later a 4 friends and I returned, by car this time, to drive from Antwerp (Belgium, where I'm originally from) to Timbouktou, via Tidjika in Mauretania, It was for me the most inspiring journey ever to do and I am and always will forever be deeply touched and intrigued by the people we met and the landscape of NW Africa.
I now am back in Broome and still dream of going back in to the Australian desert, ...one day...
I would like to wish you all the very best on your personal and other journeys. Thank you again also for sharing all your wonderfull and rich stories, looking forward to more!!

Take care from Martine

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using WordPress on numerous websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another platform. I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

Hi Paula,

The pictures are stunning, your words strongly express your emotion. I hope your words find their way across your continent and will stimulate the discussion that is clearly needed on how Australia sees its future.

"another environmental rant by a left wing, anti development greenie"? Maybe so, but we need many more of those. Not just to save James Price Point, but so many other places and cultures in the world - god knows we see our share here in Brazil.

I wish you all the love, strength and wisdom to fight this development.

happy travelling,
Karin-Marijke

I hate to say it that D Trump is planning to build yet another golf course in Scotland due to one of his past relations airing from there. So that gives him the rights to bulldoze a natural sand dunes formation saying that it's apart of his greener image for his golf course. Like your report above we in Britain fall victim too to these ideas by outsiders. The worse I hate to say is the Aussie R Murdoch he controls Britain and not even a elected. He fire my blood up.
